Delete your Briove account

You can delete your Briove account in the app or request deletion by email. You do not need to sign in or reinstall the app to send a request.

Request deletion by email

Email hello@briove.com with the subject Briove account deletion request. Include the email address associated with your account and say that you want your account and associated data deleted.

Send the request from your account email address if you can. If you no longer have access to it, tell us so we can help verify ownership. Never send your password or a sign-in code.

Delete in the app

  1. Open Briove and go to Settings.
  2. Open Privacy settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Review the deletion details and type DELETE MY ACCOUNT.
  5. Tap Delete My Account and confirm the final prompt.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

Subscriptions

If you have a paid subscription, cancel it through the App Store or Google Play subscription settings to stop future renewals. Do not rely on deleting your Briove account to cancel store billing. If you need help, include that in your deletion request.

What happens to your data

Account deletion removes your contacts, public profiles, notes, uploaded media, follow-ups, reminders, and AI processing history from Briove. Your public profile pages are no longer available.

Some records are retained: your email address and a basic deleted-account record for fraud prevention, security and support, and billing records for tax and accounting obligations. These records are not all anonymous. See our Privacy Policy for the published retention policy.

The current policy does not specify a fixed retention period for these remaining records. You can include a request for details about retained data and its retention period in your email.

Delete specific data

You can delete individual contacts or edit your profile in the app without closing your account. For other data removal requests, email hello@briove.com with your account email address and the data you want removed.
